Our 10-Year-Old Son Nathan Needs Ongoing Care at UPMC — and We Could Use Some Help

In May 2025, our 10-year-old son Nathan was rushed to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh with a rare and aggressive bone infection called Osteomyelitis. Caused by a staph bacteria, it required emergency surgery on his hip and now demands months of recovery, including repeat specialist visits and close follow-up care. Through it all, Nathan has been incredibly brave.

At the same time, our family — through Keystone — has experienced a major drop in income, losing over 80% as our primary client scaled back services. While I’ve been working hard to rebuild Keystone Web Studios and stabilize our footing, we’ve reached a point where help may be the only way we survive.

How I Could Use Help

Unfortunately, in today’s economy, even with Holly and I both working full time, it’s still not enough. That’s why I’ve continued building Keystone Web Studios, something I started back in 2016. It’s taken time to refine our pricing and services, but I finally feel like we may have found our groove.

This week, I’m making a big push to onboard new clients with fresh services — well, right after we return from Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where Nathan has another appointment on Monday.

If you’re in a position to help, here are two meaningful ways to do it:

The Best Way: Share Keystone with Businesses You Know

If you know a small business owner who needs a new website, a site refresh, a simple CRM, or help getting found online — please send them my way.

What to share:
👉 keystonewebstudios.com
👉 Our Launch Kits: keystonewebstudios.com/launch-kits
👉 Or just tell them: “Levi builds beautiful, affordable websites and gets businesses online fast.”

To share Keystone Web Studios’ website to Facebook, X, or LinkedIn — you can click the button(s) below.

Sharing this to support my friend Levi — he runs Keystone Web Studios and does amazing work for small businesses. If you or someone you know needs a website, check him out.

Option B: Send Direct Support

If you don’t know a small business to refer right now, but you’re in a position to send a few dollars our way — it would mean more than I can put into words. Every bit of support helps cover the essentials, Nathan’s medical travel, and gives us just a little more breathing room during this season. We have:
